Carl Marino was a deputy sheriff in New York and served in the forces for 17 years at the Monroe County Jail. After moving to California, he was signed by a modeling agency, auditioned for roles, and was cast in the film Sedona’s Rule in 2010. He became a recurring guest in the NBC Show Trauma as Karly Sly in 20 episodes. Carl’s most popular role came as Lieutenant Joe Kenda in the Investigation Discovery series Homicide Hunter, which he portrayed for seven seasons from 2011 to 2020.
