Most of us watch a film or television series and often praise it for how good it is. Sometimes, we fall in love with the cast but forget the “behind the camera crew” who make the film or show as good as it is. One of such individuals is Christian Gutkowski. Christian Gutkowski was a skilled assistant director and second-unit camera director. He was better known for his work at Good Trouble. The series starred Maia Mitchell, Cierra Ramirez, Zuri Adele, and Tommy Martinez.
Background
Christian Gutkowski was born in 1974 in Cold Spring Harbor, New York. He had a pretty normal childhood. Christian loved art, sports, and music, and he hoped that one day he would venture into the entertainment industry.
As of his education, Christian Gutkowski began his early education in a local school before proceeding to high school. After graduating from high school, Christian Gutkowski joined Boston College for his higher education.
Professional Career
When we watch a show, we do not remember the crew that works behind the cameras to make sure that the show is good. For most of his life, Christian Gutkowski was that kind of person. He worked behind the cameras for several films and shows, including Eagleheart, When Duty Calls, and The Making of Bigfoot Hunters. However, Christian is better known for his work at Good Trouble. He was an associate director and a second-unit camera director.
Fans of The Good Trouble learned of the passing of Christian Gutkowski in season five of the show. The was a caption in one of the episodes that read, “In loving memory of Christian Gutkowski.”
His Death
Many people were surprised by Christian Gutkowski’s death. He was a humble guy, and he looked healthy. Several people began speculating what might have been the cause of his death. Some of his closest friends noted that he died of a heart attack. Peyton Skelton, one of Christian’s friends, replied to a comment that was asking what happened to Christian, noting that he died of a heart attack.
Valerie Campbell, a co-worker from Good Trouble, noted that Christian Gutkowski had died of a heart attack, this is after he had gotten COVID-19 two times.
His loss was a big tragedy, and some of his closest friends and co-workers were saddened by his death. Christian may be gone, but his impact can still be felt. Besides the sad messages shared on social media, Christian’s close friends held a memorial service where they paid him tribute.
One of his friends celebrated him as a kind, generous, quirky, gentle, thoughtful, unique and funny human. Kat Marcheski, who was part of Good Trouble, noted that Christian helped her land a job, and she had the pleasure of working with him.
Christian Gutkowski may have been taken from us prematurely, but he remains forever in the hearts of his fans, friends, and family members. He died in March 2023, and as of the time of his passing, he was not married.
