Tammy Brawner is an actress, TV producer, and former professional basketball player. She is the ex-wife of actor and singer Darius McCrary. Brawner is the co-founded Global Dunk Empire, they unite top dunkers worldwide for entertainment and promotional events. She is the 10th woman to play for the Harlem Globetrotters where she showcased her basketball skills on an international stage.

Brawner joined the Harlem Globetrotters in 2011, and was participating in competitive basketball mixed with entertainment and travelling the world. Her time with the Globetrotters made her a role model for women in sports, especially in a space that was dominated by men. She left the Globetrotters in 2015 to pursue opportunities in the entertainment industry.

Brawner began acting professionally in 2017 and was featured on Slamma Jamma as Tammy Goodwin. In the film Tomboys at Tea, she starred as Tammy, and shares her experience alongside other female athletes in the world of sports. She appeared as Fly in the TV movie She Ball in 2020. Tammy Brawner was born on July 26, 1986 in Oakland, California. She earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from California State University, Northridge. She has an MBA in Global Business Management from the Dominican University of California, where she also excelled as a basketball player.

Brawner married Darius McCrary in 2014 and had one child but unfortunately, the marriage ended in 2017 due to irreconcilable differences. The divorce proceedings were marked by allegations of physical abuse that resulted in Brawner gaining full custody of their daughter. Despite the differences, the two have maintained a co-parenting relationship for the sake of their daughter and occasionally share positive interactions publicly.

Tammy Brawner ex-husband, Darius McCrary, is an American actor and singer. As of 2024, he had an estimated net worth of $10,000 from his music and acting. He is best known for depicting Eddie Winslow in ABC’s renowned series Family Matters and The Young and the Restless. McCrary was a child actor and starred in Big Shots, Amen, and Hooper man.

Some of his work in movies can be seen in Transformers, Mississippi Burning, Park Day, Fanatic, The Summoning, Snowfall, Monogamy and Vampires: Los Muertis. In November 2023, McCrary was arrested on felony charges for failing to pay child support which had accumulated to over $52,000 since March 2019. After pleading not guilty, his bond was set at $13,197.
